What you’ll be doing

We are looking for a talented full-time Assistant Accountant to join our energetic finance team. In our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will support key financial operations and ensure accurate and timely reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. This is your chance to step into a fast-paced role, make a positive impact, and be a key contributor to the growth of our Finance team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing financial transactions across both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions;
  • Assist with reconciling and ensuring the integrity of general ledgers and journal entries based on the Group’s established processes and guidelines; 
  • Supporting the finance function with running, formatting and disseminating routine and non-routine financial reports
  • Supporting with database management and quality control procedures 
  • Assisting with the maintenance and upkeep of asset registers; 
  • Collecting and preparing information to assist with annual external audits and direct and indirect tax obligations;
  • Oversee inbox management, ensuring all communication is addressed promptly;
  • Assist with collating documents in preparing the reconciliation of credit card transactions; 
  • Other finance related activities as required

About you

To be considered for this role you must have an Accounting or Finance qualification and

  • Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have a professional and positive manner
  • Be driven, eager to learn and a high achiever
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Learn quickly, have excellent attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • Be a team player with an exemplary work ethic
